Description
The Northwell Health Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine seeks a gynecological pathologist for our central Anatomic Pathology Services practice, serving Nassau and Suffolk Counties in Long Island and the Queens borough of New York City. This central practice covers the tertiary Long Island Jewish Medical Center, with its robust Surgical Oncology programming for the central region of the 23-hospital Northwell Health system; and the quaternary North Shore University Hospital. The annual volume of gynecological pathology cases exceeded 25000 in 2023, of which 22000 were biopsies and over 3,000 were large cases.
Eligible candidates should be subspecialty trained in Gynecological Pathology; 3 years of experience as an attending pathologist is preferred but fellowship trained new graduates will be considered. An academic background and commitment to education are desirable.

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity.
