Northwell Health and the Department of Family Medicine are excited to welcome Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine Residency Faculty Physicians to join our teams at the Family Medicine Residency Programs at Plainview Hospital, Glen Cove Hospital, and Phelps Memorial Hospital.  Among other responsibilities, the Faculty Physician will play a key role in shaping the educational curriculum – both inpatient and outpatient, working closely with the Program Directors and Associate Program Directors. They will ensure the program follows all regulations of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, providing a fertile ground for professional growth and development.

Other key responsibilities of the Family Medicine Faculty Physician will include supervising residents and other trainees, including medical students, caring for patients under the auspices of the Department. They will also coordinate, schedule subspecialty rotations, and coordinate and oversee participation by faculty in the outpatient curriculum.

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
