Northwell Health's Department of Behavioral Health is seeking a BE/BC Consultation-Liaison to lead our team in Staten Island, New York. The ideal candidate should be energetic, innovative, and enjoy working in a collaborative multidisciplinary team. Fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry is preferred, but not required.
The successful candidate will provide leadership for inpatient psychiatric consultations and follow-up visits to medical/surgical inpatients. Responsibility includes evaluating and treating patients that have behavioral complications from medical illness, complications from medications, psychiatric disorders that are co-morbid with medical conditions, and medical complications of different psychiatric disorders. Teaching opportunities exist within our residency program.
