At NorthBay Health, the Board Certified, Licensed Podiatrist will join our highly regarded health system in Northern California. NorthBay Health's dedicated team of specialists provides expert care in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle conditions, ensuring patients receive comprehensive care from diagnosis through recovery.
With expertise in both surgical and non-surgical treatment options, our podiatry specialists address a wide range of conditions including sports injuries, diabetic foot care, trauma, and reconstructive surgery. NorthBay Medical Center and VacaValley Hospital provide advanced facilities to support the treatment and care of our podiatry patients.
NorthBay Health is ideally located between the San Francisco Bay Area, Napa Valley, and Sacramento. This region offers an abundance of recreation and leisure activities, fostering a healthy and active lifestyle for residents.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Dedicated procedure and administrative time
- Call Ratio: Shared call
- Daily Patient Census: Varies based on outpatient and surgical cases
- Equipment/Resources: Advanced imaging, state-of-the-art surgical suites
- Provider Support: Full medical team support
Primary Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the foot, ankle, and related structures.
- Perform surgical procedures to treat foot and ankle issues such as fractures, bunions, hammertoes, and more.
- Provide diabetic foot care and management.
- Collaborate with other specialists to manage complex cases requiring multi-disciplinary care.
- Prescribe and implement treatments such as physical therapy, orthotics, and medication.
- Perform diagnostic tests, including x-rays and lab work.
- Provide preventive care and patient education on foot and ankle health.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in podiatric medicine and surgery.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree
- Board Certified in Podiatric Medicine or Surgery
- Licensed to practice in the state of California
- Proven experience in podiatric procedures and patient care
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Compensation and Perks:
- Total Compensation Range: $300,000 - $380,000
