At NorthBay the Physician Support Liaison (“Liaison”) will oversee the onboarding of physicians and advanced practice professionals. The Liaison is adept at building and nurturing relationships with medical professionals throughout their tenure while representing the interests and aspirations of NorthBay Health. Onboarding Support shall include facilitating on-boarding for both physicians and advanced practice professionals (APP), navigating them through the appropriate processes based on needs, and building/scheduling the orientation plan. The Onboarding Liaison will also be responsible for back up analytic support related to physician compensation and productivity, assist with pay reports, processing physician timesheets, expense reimbursement, invoices, physician incentives and developing detailed tracking / reporting tools. The Liaison must be committed to a fast-moving pace, meeting the physician/APP on site to complete the onboarding processes. The Liaison will work closely with the physician recruitment and support services team, the VP ambulatory, practice managers, medical staff and managed care business operations to ensure timely and compliant onboarding, as well as physician satisfaction.

Qualifications

  1. Education:  Associate degree or four years of related work experience required. 
  2. Licensure/Certification: N/A
  3. Experience: At least three years of experience working with confidential information required. At least three years professional experience in a healthcare onboarding preferred. 
  4. Skills:  Proficient with PC, Excel, and other computer programs. Strong customer service skills, preferably in physician relations. Ability to read and interpret contract language. Advanced organizational, task management, and problem-solving skills. Financial acumen required. Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities, including time-sensitive recurrent tasks. 
  5. Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates NorthBay's values and true north including nurturing care, own it, respect relationships, build trust, hardwire excellence.
  6. Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, hour's flexible, may require evening or weekends.
  7. Compensation:  $   to   $   based on years of experience doing the duties of the job.
