The Senior Commercial Lines Product Management Analyst (Business Insights Analyst Senior is the official NJM Title ) supports the development and management of NJM's Commercial Lines products to align with growth and profitability objectives.  Assess operational, product and/or customer performance across segments and translate the data into meaningful information and provide insights to management.  Individuals require commercial lines P&C insurance company experience and related role knowledge. Will need to effectively manage multiple projects with a high degree of confidence, independence, and sound judgment.

This is a hybrid role requiring the ability to work at home and in the West Trenton office.

Job Responsibilities: 
•    Proactive product monitoring and evaluation of results relative to business objectives, recommending strategies based on findings
•    Collection and use of quantitative and qualitative data to develop intelligent product, pricing, marketing, customer, and process-oriented insights in support of department strategies and goals
•    Develop clear and concise narrative regarding findings and recommendations
•    Scan the market to understand key trends impacting markets, customers, products, services and operational processes
•    Evaluate competitive landscape to ensure sustainability of existing products and potential new products
•    Maintain awareness of regulatory and compliance issues related to our marketplace

•    Leads strategic projects in support of product management and assists in preparing presentations for business leaders

•    Review financial results with business leaders, providing insights into results relative to expectations.

Required Qualifications and Experience: 
•    Familiarity in data science tools and available systems (SQL, SAS, PowerBI or similar, Office suite) is a plus.

•    Commercial lines product management and Industry related experience is strongly preferred
•    Demonstrated commercial lines product knowledge, focusing on Workers Compensation is strongly preferred
•    Creative problem-solving ability 
•    Operates with sense of urgency in addressing assigned requests
•    Advanced knowledge of strategic and business key performance indicators (KPIs)
•    Strong analytical skills, with proven ability to translate data into meaningful information 
•    Ability to produce accurate analyses/reports to answer complex questions
•    Analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Proficient knowledge of business analysis techniques
•    Proven ability to distill complex information into concise and impactful messages 
•    Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
•    Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
•    Ability to manage multiple projects and address assigned requests in a timely manner
•    Thorough knowledge of data collection and the relationship of data elements to each other
•    Self-starter and time manager, ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
•    Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
•    Flexible and positive attitude with respect to work assignments and changing priorities
•    Integrity in managing confidential and sensitive internal information

The Salary range for this role is $95,518 - $121,687. Compensation is commensurate with experience and credentials.
