NFM's Grandscape Facilities Supervisor, as the Facilities Supervisor you will coordinate and direct department work processes and perform all department functions as needed to maintain the buildings and grounds to company set standards. You will coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Facilities department to include preventive and reactive maintenance tasks.
Job Duties: A Day in the Life
- Coach, mentor and develop staff, including providing feedback and recognition regularly by using effective performance management tools. Set up framework to encourage setting goals, receiving feedback, and performance development.
- Follow and implement company mission and values with team. Set the team up for success to meet and exceed expectations. Use performance management tools to administer company policies and discipline staff as needed.
- Oversee the mission and critical measures of the department, including expenses, retention, turnover, customer satisfaction scores.
- Maintain and complete timekeeper functions for assigned staff and schedule staff to meet customer needs. This includes managing schedule coverage, training, PTO, schedules pertaining to leave of absence.
- Give work direction to staff and contractors on projects, work orders & PMs.
- Direct, monitor and prioritize work orders. Ensure that work is being completed according to schedule and business impact.
- Provides feedback, coaching and recognition to staff responsible for work

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?
- 2 years prior supervisory skills in the facilities maintenance field preferred
- 2+ years of building operation and maintenance experience that included electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning, fire and security systems, lighting, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic controls and energy management systems experience
- Technical or trade school certificate in heating and air conditioning preferred
- Associate degree preferred
- Universal Refrigeration Technician Certification (EPA certification) preferred
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Lift test requirement: ability to lift, push, pull required weights per established requirements for the department
- Ability to work nights, weekends and/or early morning hours based on business needs. Must be available for occasional on call and emergency situations as needed
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software/Work Order System) and Microsoft Office
