Description

Newport Beach OB/GYN Medical Group is looking to add an additional general OB/GYN Physician part-time to our busy practice. We are committed to fostering a healthy work-life balance allowing a part-time or 3-Day work week. We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible physician in good standing. 

We are a single specialty private practice with Mid-level providers. Our office is directly walking
distance across the street from Hoag Memorial Hospital where our in-patient OB care and deliveries are provided.  GYN surgery center also on the premises. Physician would be expected to work a 3-day workweek to care for Ob and Gyn patients in office and hospital, provide surgical care as needed and participate in after-hour Call Duty of 1:15 (approximately 2 Call shifts per month: 5pm – 7am weeknights, 24hr shifts (7am-7am for Saturdays and Sundays).

All overhead expenses would be covered including staffing, electronic medical record charting,
malpractice insurance, etc. with a guaranteed salary. Immediate start preferred.

Position Details:
  • Part-time (3 full office days per week) opportunity in Newport Beach, CA
  • Shared after-hours call coverage for weeknights, weekends, and holidays 1:14 (approximately 2 Calls/month)
  • Office schedule includes approximately 25+ patients-visits per day
  • Energetic, self-sufficient physician who can work independently and contribute to team environment if patient volume is slow and manage patients efficiently when patient volume is high and exhibit strong clinical skills and judgment
Qualifications:
  • M.D. or D.O. Degree
  • Active California Medical License and Active DEA number
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible - ABOG
  • EMR proficient (NextGen preferred)
  • Respectful to current staff and patients
  • Must act professional and be hard-working, ethical, accountable, responsible, trustworthy, and inclusive with all staff and patients
