- The Clinical Nurse II is a clinically competent practitioner of nursing as defined by Benner, P. (1984). From Novice to Expert. Addison-Wesley Publishing Company. The nurse at this level provides nursing care to the general unit population with minimal guidance, and bases practice on identified principles and standards of care. Provides professional nursing care to patients assigned to a specific Nursing Unit according to prescribed, delegated medical regimen, and the hospital policies. Incumbents are accountable to the North Carolina Board of Nursing for practicing nursing within the scope of the North Carolina Nursing Practice Act.
- Job Requirements
- Graduate of an approved nursing program
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina (or compact state)
- Current BCLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- 1 year of RN experience
- Additional Details
- Candidates' primary residence must be >= 50 miles from the facility
- Epic experience preferred
- COVID patients included
