NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Production Management Administrator based in our Concord, North Carolina office.
This person is responsible for working with the Production management team in planning and coordinating the day-to-day logistics of assigned projects and shows. The Production Administrator will work with the team to ensure that all the necessary elements are in place and executed for a successful production.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Participate in the organization and distribution of client requested or internal production elements and materials (i.e. sales, graphics, promotional information, etc.) to internal and external clients.
- Work with the Production and Production Management teams to identify, select and schedule staff and freelance personnel for assigned projects and/or shows.
- Work with management team on the scheduling of assigned personnel, including organizing and sending out edit schedules for producers.
- Coordinate media and work orders for assigned productions produced by the company.
- Plan, request and allocate production facility needs for productions produced, in coordination with the Production management team.
- Work alongside with Production management team in conjunction with the Operations (Transmissions, Engineering, Media Ops, Library, TOC, etc.) to coordinate the logistics of assigned projects.
- Travel required: < 5%, including weekends
Required skills / experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and a minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient on company provided hardware and software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Linear or Non-Linear editing experience is a plus. Basic knowledge of client server, web technologies and/or systems integrations is a plus.
- Valid driver's license.
- Eagerness to learn processes while assisting in Production Department.
- Well organized and flexible to shifting priorities.
- Able to carry out duties with little direct supervision.
- Detail oriented.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excels while working in stressful and time-sensitive environments.
- Able to understand and follow the company's Productions workflow.
- Available to work and/or remain accessible during non-traditional days hours during peak times
- Basic knowledge of the productions process from pre-planning to post-production and archiving
