- This position has basic knowledge of operative procedures in order to assess and implement care for ambulatory surgery patients.
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include: Regularly assesses patient's/client's needs and provides skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician authorized plan of care, and accepted standards of nursing practice.
- Provides direct patient resident care, including medication administration, treatments, call lights, assisting with transfers, responding to alarms, etc.
- Evaluates effectiveness of treatment plan and makes suggestions or participates in updating/revising the treatment plan in collaboration with other team members, utilizing current information to improve patient care.
- Processes physician/provider orders and performs physician ordered care accurately, completely and in a timely manner.
- Follows up regarding medication changes and order clarifications.

- 2+ Years of experience - Required
- Pre/Post Op Experience - Required
- PACU Training - Preferred
- Additional Details
- Profile Requirements: Work History, Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
- 2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two years
- Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will consider local candidates for one 13 week contract, afterwards, they are to go perm- 50 mile radius restriction)
