FTE: .9, Shift: 7p -7a-, Schedule: 3 - 12 's a week, every other weekend


Position Summary

The Lift Team NAC will instruct and assist other clinical staff on proper use of the lift equipment throughout Yakima Valley Memorial.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assists other clinical staff in use of lift equipment, including two-person lifts.
2. Instructs clinical staff on proper lifting techniques.
3. Responds and assists with all stroke alerts.
4. Assists with transport calls.
5. Assists with patient care activities, answering call lights, passing trays to patients, etc.
6. Responsible for transferring dirty and clean linens to and from the floors.
7. Stocks wheelchairs at hospital entrances.
8. Delivers IV pumps to the Emergency Department.
9. Stocks all lift team carts with appropriate supplies.
10. Assists with other duties as assigned when necessary

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $24.67 - $33.83 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
