The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai through its affiliation with New York City Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst is seeking a sub-specialist in Complex Family Planning to join our dynamic team in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

We are seeking a qualified candidate to expand our Family Planning services that include the full scope of clinical Complex Family planning, including dilation and evacuation through 24 weeks' gestation, medication abortion and medically complex contraception. Our Department has a longstanding Family Planning service, including reserved OR block time and experienced, compassionate, mission-driven staff from the neighborhoods that we serve.

A successful applicant will have shown commitment to the education and training of medical students, residents, APPs and a collegiality with other physicians in a team environment. In this position, the provider will divide their time between work as a sub-specialist in Complex Family Planning and as a Generalist on the Obstetrics and Gynecology Service. Clinical care will include participation in the ambulatory gynecology and prenatal clinics, the Family Planning Clinic (FPC), and L&D call.

Candidates should be Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with fellowship training in Complex Family Planning (may be Board Eligible at time of application) and must have a valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number. Qualified candidates should have strong clinical abilities, teaching experience, communication and interpersonal skills.

We also offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications
