Intensivist
Fall 2021
Mount Auburn Hospital, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital serving the greater Cambridge, Massachusetts area is seeking a board certified pulmonary, critical care specialist to join a vibrant Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep as a full time intensivist. The ideal candidate would have a strong interest in all aspects of critical care medicine. The predominant clinical time would include providing attending services in the medical intensive care unit, consultative services in the surgical intensive care unit/pulmonary inpatient service with a minimum of 50% of shifts at night.
An opportunity to provide pulmonary care would be possible for those interested in maintaining ambulatory pulmonary work. Responsibilities also include teaching medical residents and Harvard medical students.
Mount Auburn Hospital caters to a diverse mix of urban and suburban patients and is characterized by an exceptionally collaborative and collegial working environment. The physician selected for this role will be eligible for a faculty appointment as in Instructor or Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School commensurate with experience and qualifications.
