The Administrative Nurse Manager participates in performance improvement/ research activities maintains professional practice standards and clinical expertise: and demonstrates leadership skills. The ANM demonstrates core and unit specific competencies based on the patient population served.
This position is accountable for managing all clinical administrative functions (patient care delivery, fiscal, material, and human resources) of nursing unit(s) within a Care Center on a 24-hour basis. The position is responsible to create an environment in which autonomy is nurtured, encouraged, and reflected in a highly competent workforce capable of providing quality care. Professional interdisciplinary collaboration, communication and teamwork enacted enable care delivery to the customers and community to improve health and wellness. The position is responsible to uphold compliance with Montefiore Medical Center's policies/ procedures, service excellence standards and regulatory requirements.
Master's Degree preferred
Bachelor's Degree required
NYS RN license and registration required
