- Certification requirements by unit are housed in the unit descriptions available in the facility's profile page.
- Certs of completion are acceptable for up to 1 month until official card is issued.
- Job Details
- Floating to multiple ICUs including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac / Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine and COVID
- Need strong, independent experienced nurses to float ICUs
- If ICU needs they will be expected to float to floors as a staff nurse
- The nursing office staffs: Oncology, Neurology, Med Surg, Medicine, Trauma, Heart and Vascular and COVID
- Ratio: 2:1 on ICU's for all shifts
- Will float to inpatient floors when needed with a ratio of no more 1:3
- Will float to non-critical care units if census is low in ICU, and may be asked to utilized as a patient sitter if needed
- Every other weekend required
- Special Procedures/Unit Details: Floating to multiple ICUs including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac / Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine and COVID
- Job Requirements
- Does not require specific CVICU experience
- PREFERRED (not required) Cardiac Skill Set: Swans-hemodynamic interpretation, IABP, Impella, ECMO, Vasoactive drips, CRRT
- BCLS, ACLS required
- Chemo, CCRN, NIH, ONS, TNCC, CPI preferred
- Vents, IV start, Tele, Conscious Sedation required
- Triage, ICP, PA lines, Level 1 Trauma Experience preferred
- 2 years experience required
- Will not accept first time travelers
- Schedule Information
- Every other weekend required
