Job Requirements
• Must have: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, Neuro and Trauma Care experience.
• Preferred or nice to have: Neuro and Trauma Care experience.

Schedule Information
• Weekends and On call(if any): Every other weekend.

• Progressive Care Unit.
• Number of Beds – 44 beds.
• Number of Staff – 95.
• Type of staff: Day Shift - Grid- 2 CNC/Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNA, 1 HUC; Night Shift - Grid- 2 CNC/Charge, 11 RNs, 4 CNA, 1 HUC.
• Patient Ratios – 4/1 at grid 5/1 stretched.
• Type of equipment – IV pumps, Skylift, PCA pump, Chest tube, Trachs, Patient lifts.
• EMR - Cerner.
• Typical procedures performed on unit(s): Neuro and spinal checks, C-Collar placement, TLSO braces, Chest tube, PCA pump, IV infusions, Lumber drain, Feeding tube placement, Blood transfusion.
• Floating Area(s): Stepdown units, Med-surg units.
