- Shifts are 8's and 12's varied starts 7-3:30, 3-11:30, 11-7:30
- Every other weekend requirement
- No call requirement
- Holidays are every other or as needed
- Unit Specific Information
- # L&D Beds: 20 including PP
- # triage beds: 3-5 beds
- # births per day, per year: 1,000 a year
- Ratios: L&D 1:1, PP rarely 1:2, 1:3-4 Couplets
- FHM System: Fetal Link
- EMR: Cerner converting to Epic by Feb 2020
- Tele: Yes, Nurses must be able to read and interpret strips.
- Vents: Nursery only
- OB/Neonatologist in house
- Infant Care Team Services with Pediatrician On Call

- High risk, 33-week, low risk. Everything below 33 weeks are shipped out. PP feeders and growers
- Floor specific orientation of 2-3 shifts
- Baby-friendly facility, Support breastfeeding
