**Location: MetroHealth Cleveland Heights Medical Center**

**Bi-weekly Hours: 72.00**

**Shift: 7p-7a; 11p-7a; Rotating weekends, Rotating holidays**

**_All Acute Care Adult Specialty units offer enhanced technology to assist with nursing care, including patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and telemetry monitoring capability._**

**Join our Acute Care Medical Cleveland Heights Inpatient Unit (CHIP)!**

**_Primary Patient Population:_**

+ **Acutely ill medical patients**

**_Primary skills utilized/learned:_**

+ **IV insertion, blood draws, Foley catheter insertion, wound care**

+ **Time management, critical thinking, delegating**

+ **Excellent unit for both new grads and experienced RNs**

**_Personnel RN will work with_** **_:_**

+ **LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Social Workers, PT/OT, Speech Therapy**

**_Number of beds on unit:_**

+ **12 beds**

**_Awards or Recognitions the unit has received:_**

+ **Zero healthcare associated pressure ulcers**

+ **Highly rated Patient Satisfaction surveys**

Required Qualifications:

+ Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).

+ Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio

+ Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ BSN

+ Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association
