Certification Details
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA or ARC only)
• BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA or ARC only)
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA or ARC only)
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (only AAP certs are acceptable)
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course preferred for ER (not required)
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring (Methodist: Intermediate AWHONN required for L&D within 2 years of start)
• Tech Cert Verification - National (Ultrasound Techs require ARDMS certification only)
• State License - Copy of Professional License (Required as applicable)
• State License 1 Verification (State license is preferred for Med Techs, Med Lab Techs, and Med Lab Scientists)
• NIH Stroke Certification (Required for RNs at Methodist Healthcare, expires annually)
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (Required for Case Managers, must be updated annually)
• Color Blind Testing Online (Required for Medical Technologists)
• Competency Exam (Must be taken within a year of start and updated annually)
