Mercyhealth, an award-winning fully integrated healthcare delivery organization is seeking a Full-time Gynecologic-Oncologist at Javon Bea Hospital – Rockton Ave in Rockford, Illinois

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A strong commitment to patient care, clinical research, and medical education.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for providing high-quality personalized care to women with gynecologic cancer.
  • A drive for research experience, and/or interest in, expanding their clinical trial footprint. The commitment to grow a gynecologic oncology practice and provide comprehensive gynecologic cancer care in areas that have had limited access to gynecologic cancer care.
  • Be closely involved in the continued expansion of our cancer service line.

Physician Qualifications:

  • Board Certified
  • Residency-trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • The successful completion of a three-four-year fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology.
  • Experience preferred w/ chemotherapy, radiation therapy, minimally invasive surgery, and da Vinci-assisted surgery.
