Job Details
• A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Med/Surg Oncology RN for a travel assignment. The right candidate will have 2+ years of experience.

Job Requirements
• Must have 2-3 years in specialty
• Must be a team player
• Travel experience preferred

Schedule Information
• 12 hr shifts 6:45-7:15
• 4 weekend shifts in 4 week schedule
• Days, EOW, First to Float

Unit Specific Information
• Unit: Medsurg Oncology
• Number of beds: 17 beds
• Ratios: 1 to 5, could be 1 to 4 if one of the patients is getting chemo
• EMR: Cerner
• Charge Nurse: Clinical supervisor who will not take pt assignment, will fill in as break relief
• Nurse Aides: 1 nurse aide on for 8 hrs of days
• Floating: To tele 1 to 4 ratio, could also float between medsurg floors
• Floor specific orientation: 1 shift on unit
• Common diagnosis/Types of patients: Mostly oncology patients but may have some overflow medsurg

Additional Details
• COVID Vaccine Required (Certification)
• BLS Certification required
• Portable tele box as needed, must be able to read and interpret
• Will have to take dysrhythmia exam
