Overview:

 

Supervisor Voice Services

Full Time, Hiring Now!
Evening Shift - Alternating holidays and weekends

Assists the Manager in coordinating and supervising the activities of the communications/voice services department on a daily basis. Supervise approximately 10 coworkers and ensures staff is adequately trained and performs their duties in compliance with hospital and department policies and procedures.  Responsible for staffing, coverage, working the switchboard 50% of the time, training new co-workers, assisting manager in maintaining operator software, assuring profile information is up to date and call schedules are entered monthly, and other duties as assigned by manager. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.


Qualifications:

Education: Associates degree or equivalent years of experience required.
Experience: 2 years management/leadership experience required.
Preferred Experience: Previous switchboard experience.
Other: Excellent customer service and communications skills. Experience with multiple 

computer software systems required. Proficient in Microsoft suite of products preferred.
