Vascular Lab

Start times from 7am-9am, 8 hr shifts

*Weekends, holidays, on call and rotation between the hospital and clinic as needed*

Overview:

• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs vascular ultrasound procedures for interpretation by physicians.
• Provides the patient care essential to vascular ultrasound procedures.
• Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent with ARDMS or CCI. Prerequisite for education and required clinical experience from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• Certifications: BLS. Registered or registry eligible, Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with ARDMS or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) with CCI.
