Overview:

The House Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of various patient care departments within the hospital. This role ensures efficient workflow, adherence to policies, and high-quality support services that contribute to excellent patient care. The House Supervisor role also will be supervising staff, coordinating activities, addressing issues as they arise, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

1. Lead, mentor, and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
2. Act as a clinical and administrative resource for staff.
3. Assist with unit staffing deployment, ensuring adequate coverage for all inpatient care areas.
4. Coordinate with clinical and non-clinical departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
5. Supervise the activities of clinical departments ensuring compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations.
6. Address and resolve patient and family concerns services promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Three years of hospital nursing experience
• Required Education: Graduate from an accredited RN program
• Preferred Education: BSN 
• Certifications: BLS through the American Heart Association
