Overview:
Responsible for the overall material management operations of the day shift including the distribution and storage of medical/surgical supplies. Coordinates supply acquisition, distribution and maintains inventories at a satisfactory operating and dollar value level. Maintains good communication among Accounts Payable, Purchasing, ROI, CSC, and Receiving Department. This position insures that all customer needs are serviced in a timely manner and supervises the daily activities of the purchasing, receiving and inventory clerk. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
- MINIMUM REQUIRED
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Other skills & knowledge:(skills, knowledge, abilities)
- Working knowledge of medical terminology, typing and computer data entry skills required.
- Must have excellent communication skills and customer service skills.
