Overview:
Responsible for facilitation of a variety of Mercy programs and strategic projects, the director will collaborate closely with operations leaders by identifying, developing, and providing objective data and analysis and tools that enable leadership to surface issues, and make informed decisions and action plans to support operations in achievement of strategic goals. In addition, the director consistently measures strategic performance and targets and communicates routinely to management. As a member of the administrative team, participates in an active and positive manner in decision-making and implementation of key strategic initiatives. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration or related field and commitment to pursue and complete a Master's degree in Business or HealthCare Administration
Experience: Three to Five years experience in healthcare planning and/or healthcare administrative management
Other: Strong financial and analytical skills. Understanding of business development, strategic planning and ambulatory care operations. Ability to build rapport and relationships quickly. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Computer and software skills, including word processing, spreadsheet and database management. Experience in budget management, project management and supervision of employees. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Ability to work with a wide variety of people throughout the organization; ability to project a well-disciplined professional image. Excellent communication skills including a high degree of professionalism and personal presence.
Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration
