General Summary of Position
The WOCN Clinical Specialist will function in the role of a Clinical Nurse Specialist/Wound Care Program Manager to establish standards of care and clinical competencies to meet patient needs, and training programs to ensure clinical expertise. Provides consultation to all branches for complex wound, ostomy and incontinence patients according to referral criteria and WOCN standards. Takes a leadership role in development, coordination and monitoring of the wound care program, and monitors and works to improve clinical outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
- Master's degree in nursing from an NLN-accredited program with a clinical focus preferred
Experience
- 3-4 years Licensed professional nursing experience required
- 3-4 years Experience in wound care management and education required
- Broad clinical background and pain management experience preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in Maryland or licensed eligible required
- CWOCN - Certified Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse through a recognized WOCN Program required
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross within 90 Days required
- Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit.
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification preferred
This position has a hiring range of $87,318 - $157,289
