This position is for an EXPERIENCED registered nurse on the Intermediate Care (IMC) unit at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital.

Unit Overview:
MedStar Union Memorial Hospital is seeking dedicated and skilled RNs to join our Intermediate Care Unit. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a focus on professional growth and high-quality patient care.


Unit Highlights:
22 Beds: Our unit specializes in all cardiac cases, including patients requiring drips.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse you will deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex. You will identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and critically analyzes trends and changes in patient status and plans appropriate interventions directly or indirectly through other nurses.

Qualifications

  • ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
  • Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
  • Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
