General Summary of Position

MedStar Health is looking for a Program Manager, Wellbeing Education and External Partnerships to join our team! The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communications skills, strong presentation skills and the ability to effectively interact with high-level clients. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; conference scheduling and/or content management software. 

The Program Manager, Wellbeing Education and External Partnerships at the MedStar Health Center for Wellbeing (MCW) supports education strategy and implementation of internally and externally facing education, training, and certification programs at MedStar Health. Additionally, this role helps support external partnerships between MCW and key national stakeholders, including oversight of MedStar-Health-led consortia, interdisciplinary development programs and training courses. The role reports to the Director of Nurse Wellbeing, MedStar Health Center for Wellbeing.

Primary Duties: 

  • Supports strategic vision, planning, and direction to the development, implementation, and evaluation of education and professional development initiatives that promote employee wellbeing. Support efforts related to external outreach and relationship management, including supporting national consortia, conferences, and training programs.  

  • Supports learning management systems (LMS) and learning experience platforms (LXP) related to wellbeing efforts. Collaborates with local, national, and international professional organizations to develop and deliver educational content that promotes wellbeing in healthcare.  

  • Partners with SiTEL to oversee the development and distribution of wellbeing-related continuing education (CE) materials. Explores digital tools that can improve the delivery of wellbeing-related training and education.  

  • Assists in the development of educational tools used to evaluate and promote employee wellbeing (e.g.: wellbeing education series, professional advancement opportunities, wellness champion program, etc.). Supports the development of externally facing wellbeing platforms and content.  

  • Assesses wellbeing-related collaborative opportunities that support associate training and education. Contributes to communications strategy to expand awareness of wellbeing educational opportunities and key wellbeing knowledge for leaders and associates. 

 

Qualifications:  

  • Master's degree in education, human services, or healthcare related field. 

  • 3-4 years' experience managing programs that include a variety of stakeholders (e.g., consortia, task forces). Experience with professional development or education programming and strategy, preferably in healthcare or human service settings, Experience managing large stakeholder groups (e.g.: boards, consortia, task forces). Experience with education strategy, development, and administration. Comfort with digital tools used for outreach and content delivery (apps, social media, etc.). 

  • 3-4 years background in healthcare, wellbeing, human services, or other relevant fields. Experience in communication strategy and graphic design. Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and learning experience platforms (LXP) preferred. 


This position has a hiring range of $93,142 - $166,795
