General Summary of Position
In collaboration with MGUH Nursing Leadership, develops Nurse Retention, Engagement, & Recognition annual plan. Coordinates & Implements plan per design.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree Bachelors of Art or Bachelors Science required or
- Bachelor's degree Bachelor's of Science in Nursing preferred
Experience
- 3-4 years A minimum of three to four years of related experience, preferably in an academic setting required and
- 3-4 years Inpatient bedside nursing experience preferred or
- 3-4 years Talent acquisition/full-cycle nurse recruitment preferred
Licenses and Certifications
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure RN License in the District of Columbia Upon Hire required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees and the public.
- Ability to think abstractly and analytically; knowledge of organizational staffing in either a hospital or university setting and broad understanding of human resource principles, including basic knowledge of compensation.
This position has a hiring range of $100,588.80 - $180,419.20
