General Summary of Position

Our team is looking for a nurse with OBGYN experience to provide professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices at the outpatient clinic.

Schedule is Monday- Friday 8:15am-4:45pm located in Washington, DC 20007

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
Education

• Associate's degree Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. required and
• Bachelor's degree B.S.N. preferred
• One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.

Experience

• 1-2 years 2 years of professional nursing experience; at least 1 year of telephone triage, pediatric experience and previous use of electronic medical records required and
• 1-2 years Previous outpatient experience preferred
• One year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure Registered Nurse, licensed in the District of Columbia; required and
• CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation (includes BLS and NRP) for healthcare providers from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required and
• Additional unit/specialty certifications may vary by department or business unit.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care;
• Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods, and techniques of professional nursing to provide ongoing patient care;
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

This position has a hiring range of $28.98 - $52.60
