MedStar Health is looking for a Materials Handler to join our team at Washington Hospital Center!
As a Materials Handler, you will distribute medical supplies to our inpatient nursing departments, ensuring medical supplies are available for nursing and physician use for direct patient care.

Primary Duties:
Receives, inspects, unpacks, and verifies quantities received against packing slip or purchase order for items/supplies delivered.
Counts manually, or with a portable, hand held computer, items on exchange carts or supply.
Catalogs items and enters inventory.
Breaks down boxes and discards boxes.
Responsible for the receipt, distribution and disbursement of supplies and materials to designed nursing units.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
3 years' direct relevant job experience may be substituted in lieu of Education requirement.
