General Summary of Position

We are actively recruiting for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to help lead our team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC in the role of Inpatient Pharmacy Operations Manager.

Supervises the day-to-day provision of pharmacy services in a designated area of patient care, supply or automated drug distribution, provides administrative supervision of professional and technical employees, and participates in the planning and development of the pharmacy programs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
Education

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college of Pharmacy required
• Doctoral degree from an accredited college of Pharmacy or completion of a residency required

Experience

• 5-7 years as a registered clinical pharmacist, 3-4 years with Pharm. D., or 5-7 years with residency, in addition to teaching experience required

Licenses and Certifications

• PHARMD - Licensed Pharmacist in the District of Columbia required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Familiarity with computers and automated pharmacy software systems/ applications is preferred.

This position has a hiring range of $118,331 - $230,172
