MedStar Health is looking for an Equipment Orthopedic Technician to join our team at Washington Hospital Center!
As an Equipment Orthopedic Technician, you will deliver, assemble, adjust, maintain, and store orthopedic equipment, soft goods, and other related clinical support equipment.

Primary Duties:
Delivers various types of orthopedic equipment, soft goods, and other various clinical support equipment to patient care areas.
Collects, cleans, and distributes medical equipment to inpatient and surgical departments.
Set up various types of orthopedic tractions per Physician orders (i.e., bulks, cervical, arm and burn tractions).
Instruct patients on simple exercises, cast care and use of crutches, etc.
Assist with periodic inventory; may perform rounds to verify usage and proper functioning of equipment. Inform Lead Orthopedic Technician of any inventory shortages.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
May require up to 1 year of technical or other specialized training.
6 months to 1 year experience (i.e., Orthopedic Technician or Equipment Assistant).
This position has a hiring range of $18.791 - $27.933
