General Summary of Position
We are actively recruiting for a Biorepository Research Coordinator I to join our team at MedStar Health Research Institute in Washington, DC. This position is primarily Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts. Exact hours vary and are dependent on surgery schedule, but typical hours are between 6am to 6pm. Position also requires rotating weekday and weekend freezer coverage.
Under moderate supervision of the Biorepository Clinical Program Manager, the Biorepository Research Coordinator I is dedicated to acquisition, delivery, and processing of human biological samples for research. The Biorepository Research Coordinator I is responsible for specimen and clinical data collections from patients who consent to the biorepository study at multiple MedStar Health sites. Carries out efficient daily operations as well as supporting growth into future areas of service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Required
- 1-2 years experience in related field required
- Must possess basic understanding of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) provided by the International Conference on Harmonization (ICH).
This position has a hiring range of $48,235 - $84,468
