Job Summary:

MedStar Health is looking for an AVP Philanthropy Events to join our team at our MedStar Health Corporate Headquarters!

As an AVP Philanthropy Events, you will lead and oversee the end-to-end management of events, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, optimizing processes, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality events.

Primary Duties:

·         Develops and ensures all events align with the organization's mission, values, and overall strategy and leads the events team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

·         Collaborates with senior leadership to set annual goals, budgets, and strategy of the events.

·         Develops metrics and measurement tools to assess ROI and refine programs to better leverage resources and improve attendance, costs, and program content.

·         Interacts with leadership and high-level guests, donors and constituents.

·         Optimizes event operations processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

·         Oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all events, ensuring they meet quality standards.

·         Oversees the creation of event invitations, programs, and other collateral. Develops appropriate recognition and stewardship of donors and sponsors before, during, and after events. Develops and collaborates with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and materials for events.

·         Manages relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and venues to ensure seamless event delivery.

·         Develops and manages the events budget, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency.

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Relations, or related field required.

·         5-7 year's event management, ideally in Philanthropy, required.

 

This position has a hiring range of $131,497 - $243,256
