• START DATE: 8/26, 9/9
• Pending DC license accepted but must have license prior to start date.
• HARD STOP At least 2 yrs specialty exp required.
• Float Requirements: Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
• Weekend Coverage: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
• Ratio: 1:6
• Avg Daily Census/Beds:16
• Documentation system: Cerner Required
• Special Requirements: Teams-Based Model of Care
• Facility: Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital, Total Staffed Beds: 402
• Scrubs not provided; Any Color without other hospital logos.
• ***Rotating shifts can vary between switching between days and nights within the same week and/or working a few weeks of days and then a few weeks of nights. Flexibility is a must.

Job Requirements
• At least 2 years specialty experience required.
• Skills Required: Med/Surg, Starting IVs, use of Cerner.
• Certs Required: BLS
• Certs Preferred: BSN

Schedule Information
• 36 hours per week.
• Shift: rotating shifts.
• Required to work every other weekend.

• C41 Med/Surg Unit Overview
• Unit provides care to adult and geriatric patients requiring inpatient care for medical diagnoses.
• Collaborative patient care through teams-based model of care.
