Cath Lab Tech - 4x9 Day
Four 9 hour shifts (36 HRS)
0700-4:30PM Four nine hour shifts Monday through Friday: 36 hours weekly

Work Setting Skills Required: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath lab
Work setting Skills preferred: Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, Interventional Radiology, Special Procedures
Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures Required: ASD Closures, Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement/Removal, Left heart catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Right heart catheterization, Temporary Pacemaker
Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures Preferred: Hemodynamic monitoring, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Permanent Pacemaker Insertion (PPI)
Electrophysiology Studies Required Skills: Insertion/Programming of AICDs, Pacemaker Insertion
EP Skills Preferred: Cardiac Ablation
Procedural Skills Required: Accurate monitoring, Equipment set up, Perform EKG lead placement, Prep access site, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, Room circulator, Scrub- maintain sterile field, Vascular Closure Systems (Perclose, StarClose)
Procedural Skills Preferred: Isolation Precautions, Use of Rapid Response team

Patient population: Adults, Geriatrics
2 Years Minimum Experience Required
Must have 1 prior travel assignment
Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
