Under general supervision, this individual leads primary research projects and provides consulting services across the organization to support improvement efforts of Medical Mutual and its affiliates on both tactical and strategic levels. The Insights & Analytics Advisor II possesses the technical skills and abilities to help establish the team as a Research Center of Excellence for our Company. Projects range in scope from conducting primary research to making recommendations to support data driven business decision making.
Responsibilities
Insights & Analytics Advisor II
· Under the direction of the Insights & Analytics team, manages primary and/or secondary research for the Company including: methodological design consulting, survey design, data analysis, reporting, and consulting on insights and recommendations for improvement.
· With guidance from the Insights & Analytics team, coaches and counsels members of cross functional teams to accomplish projects, meet established schedules, or work toward issue resolution.
· Communicates with internal clients 2-3 levels up/down and across a range of disciplines and all levels of management to share insights, address business questions, and identify research and business needs.
· With guidance from the Insights & Analytics team, provides the organization with a complete and accurate assessment of stakeholder satisfaction and loyalty, how these compare to benchmarks, and recommend actions to improve stakeholder experience.
· Serves on task forces, committees, and work groups to represent the voice of stakeholders and connect the dots to business operations.
· Support senior consultants and team leader in facilitating cross functional workshops internally to evaluate stakeholder experience opportunities and use these insights to inform prioritization of process improvement work.
· Post-contract negotiation, manage projects at times with third party vendors to the agreements set forth.
· Maintain knowledge of the latest advancements in customer experience, market research, and health insurance industry.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Sr. Insights & Analytics Advisor
· Manages primary and/or secondary research for the Company including: methodological design consulting, survey design, data analysis, reporting, and consulting on insights and recommendations for improvement.
· Partners with Insights & Analytics team to coach and counsel members of cross functional teams to accomplish projects, meet established schedules, or work toward issue resolution.
· Communicates effectively with internal clients 2-3 levels up/down and across a range of disciplines and all levels of management to share insights, address business questions, and identify research and business needs
· Serves as an ambassador for onboarding new team members.
· With limited guidance from the Insights & Analytics team, provides the organization with a complete and accurate assessment of stakeholder satisfaction and loyalty, how these compare to benchmarks, and recommend actions to improve stakeholder experience.
· Serves on task forces, committees, and work groups to represent the voice of stakeholders and connect the dots to business operations
· Leads cross functional workshops internally to evaluate stakeholder experience opportunities and use these insights to inform prioritization of process improvement work.
· With oversight, participates in contract negotiations and manage relationships with vendors on specific projects and manage to those agreements set forth.
· Maintains knowledge of the latest advancements in customer experience, market research, and health insurance industry.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Lead Insights & Analytics Advisor
· Independently manages primary and/or secondary research for the Company including: methodological design consulting, survey design, data analysis, reporting, and consulting on insights and recommendations for improvement, qualitative moderation.
· Coaches and counsels members of cross functional teams to accomplish projects, meet established schedules, or work toward issue resolution.
· Communicates effectively with internal clients 2-3 levels up/down and across a range of disciplines and all levels of management to share insights, address business questions, and identify research and business needs.
· Guides and mentors new team members and serves as an ambassador for onboarding new team members.
· Directly negotiates contracts and manages relationships with vendors and manages to those agreements set forth.
· Provides the organization with a complete and accurate assessment of stakeholder satisfaction and loyalty, how these compare to benchmarks, and recommend actions to improve stakeholder experience.
· Serves on task forces, committees, and work groups to represent the voice of stakeholders and connect the dots to business operations.

· Bachelor's degree (market research, social sciences, mathematics, statistics, economics, or related field) with 4 years of related research and consulting experience or Masters' degree with 2-3 years of primary research and consulting experience.
· Experience in survey design, data analysis, and reporting.
· Demonstrated experience in business problem solving skills.
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
· Expertise in statistical software packages (SPSS or SAS) for data management and analytics (e.g., regressions)
· Qualtrics or survey programming knowledge is beneficial
· Power BI, Tableau
· Market research knowledge
· Microsoft Suite expertise
