Directs, plans, and manages systems development managers and technical staff to ensure the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of the Company's essential business applications. Builds relationships with peer business leaders throughout the Company to ensure alignment of application solutions for current and future business needs. Serves as the thought leader for business and service decisions as they relate to effective delivery of software applications and data management systems.
Responsibilities
- Oversees management of systems development teams ensuring delivery is on time, on budget and on schedule.
- Establishes current and long-range technology strategy for key products and solutions to support the Company's current and future state.
- Establishes customer satisfaction metrics to measure performance and anticipate needs. Leverages these metrics to make adjustments in the ongoing strategic approach.
- Advocates, educates, and enforces all internal and external security and privacy policies.
- Provides visible leadership which fosters and ensures a high degree of coordination throughout the Company.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Equivalent education and experience directly related to the role may substitute for a degree.
- 8 years of experience with business applications and customer-oriented systems development and maintenance, 5 years of which are in a manager capacity.
Professional Certification(s):
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or industry related certification strongly preferred.
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong written and oral communication skills, leadership principles and decision-making abilities
- Advanced understanding of multiple applications development methodologies and best practices.
- Advanced understanding of delivering and supporting technical solutions in various infrastructure domains.
- Adept at building consensus with business partners to develop and execute effective strategies for the Company.
