Description:
• Performs general radiographic examinations as required.
• Observes all radiation safety guidelines and performs any other duties which assist in the provision of quality patient care according to the mission and values of the health center.

Essential Functions
• Performs CT imaging examinations, intravenous contrast injections in accordance with hospital guidelines and ensures safety to the patient, public, and self.
• Prepares equipment and scanning area for patient procedures. Transport or escort patients to and from CT area. Keeps areas stocked at all times and room clean. Technologist cleans equipment per departmental policy after each patient use.
Requirements:
• Required Minimum Education: Specialty/Major: Radiologic Sciences Preferred Education: Specialty/Major: Radiology/CT
• Licensing and Certifications: (must be non-expired/active unless otherwise stated): Required: ARRT(R) Registered, current BLS Certification, Ohio Department of Health License for Radiologic Technologist Preferred: ARRT(R)(CT) Registered, ACLS preferred, previous experience preferred
• Minimum Years and Type of Experience: 1 year of CT experience, 2 years of Radiology experience preferred Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Broad Range of Technical Skills. Has fairly detailed level of knowledge of a Radiology/CT modality Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: Gathers, organizes, verifies, and analyzes data in the completion of multi-step procedures. Produces final output within established standards Operates complicated equipment
