The Critical Care Independent Multidisciplinary Practice (IMP) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a position in the St Marys Medical Intensive Care Unit and Respiratory Care Unit, caring for both critical care and post critical care patients. Selected candidates hired into this role will have the opportunity to partner with multidisciplinary intensivists to manage a wide variety of critically ill patients. NP/PA in this area, will perform admission history and physicals, daily notes, order/interpret tests, manage medication regimes and order diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. There is potential for performing select procedures based on need and experience of the provider. Candidates should have a strong desire to care for the complex medically ill patient. ICU experience/exposure is highly preferred, although extensive training and mentoring will be included as part of orientation to this new role. Masters prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current Minnesota RN license and certification or eligible to be certified as an ANP, FNP, ACNP, AGACNP;
