Manager, Total Rewards. Primary location: Remote. Full-Time, Regular, Salaried 



Responsibilities

About the role:

 

Type: Full Time Salaried

Compensation: $101,000 - $151,000

Location: Fully Remote, must be in the United States

Hours: Full Time Days

What to Expect:

 

The Manager, Total Rewards manages the design, implementation, administration, communication, andongoing evaluation of the organization's benefits and compensation programs, policies, and procedures. Delivers strategic, cost-effective solutions aligned to our Employer of Choice strategy that meet business objectives in a compliant fashion. Serves as a key stakeholder in Matrix's Employer of Choice strategy.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensures that benefits and compensation programs support Matrix business objectives and meet all legal
    requirements.
  • Develops and manages benefits and compensation budgets.
  • Oversees compensation processes, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure
    development, base pay administration, incentive plan design and analysis.
  • Manages benefits planning and programs including health and welfare, retirement, and work life.
  • Communicates eligibility and coverage information to employees.
  • May select and manage outsourced providers.
  • Develops and maintains job descriptions and job architecture.
  • Conducts annual research and analysis on market competitiveness, pay equity, and compensation trends.
  • Serves as an integral part of the management team and improvement of relevant workflow and processes liaising with HRIS, Benefits, Payroll / Finance and other stakeholders.
  • Advises managers on effective pay decisions.
  • Supports annual compensation planning and incentive cycles.
  • Develops and documents benefits and compensation guidelines, policies and communication materials.
  • Prepares compensation reports/queries as needed and ensuring integrity of data and reporting methodologies.
  • Responsible for day to day administration of the company's 401(k) plan (enrollment, funding, discrimination testing, plan audit/review, etc.)
  • Ensures programs are administered in accordance with plan documents and legal compliance, staying up todate on changing regulations or plan provisions. Conducts regular audits to ensure data and process accuracy
  • Responsible to lead and develop Total Rewards team members to ensure maximum performance and
    sustainable career progression.
  • Other duties as assigned.
