Title and Summary

Vice President, Services Business Development, ANZ Division The Services organization is a key driver of growth for Mastercard providing cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Bringing together our unique and proprietary data, technology, insights and expertise into a single organization, Services relentlessly focuses on meeting the needs of our customers, acting as a critical part of our business growth. Representing over a third of Mastercard revenues, Services is a key differentiator for Mastercard.

We are seeking for a candidate to lead the Services Business Development team for the Australasia Division. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and inspirational sales leader, with a proven track record of leading high performing sales individuals and cross-functional teams in consultative selling and grow our services penetration with our customers. Deep knowledge of payments is essential.

Location: Sydney

Key Responsibilities:
• Defines the Services growth strategy for the ANZ division and leads the execution of the strategy in partnership with the Division President, in-division teams and key services functions
• Owns the Services sales and revenue goals for the division across key dimensions – growing penetration of key target segments in the division, driving cross and up-sell to existing customers, landing and expanding with new logos and expanding distribution channels (e.g. reseller partnerships).
• Collaborates with the Account Management team to win new network deals for Mastercard, leveraging and differentiating with services capabilities and solutions.
• Leads and builds a diverse and high performing business development team and fosters a high trust and collaborative environment with divisional teams and services functions that exemplifies the Mastercard Way.
• Be a thought leader for Mastercard when representing the Services business in the division.
Grows, nurtures and evangelizes the D&S brand internally and externally.

All About You

• Experienced senior business development leader in leading sales teams, selling value added services to FIs and non-FI segments to grow and optimize customer's payments portfolio.
• Takes an Insight led, consultative sales approach in engaging and selling with C-suite customers to win new business.
• Strong commercial and strategic acumen and proven track record in driving flawless execution in a matrixed environment.
• Excellent people leadership, communication and influencing skills. Leads by example, proven ability to influence and inspire direct and indirect teams to advance the strategy and deliver target outcomes.
