Title and Summary

Vice President, Open Banking Product Management Consulting The Services team and solutions fuel growth for partners globally by providing cutting edge services in the areas of Customer Acquisition and Engagement, Security Solutions, Business and Market Insights, and Open Banking. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast, our agile sales team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base including retailers, airlines, hotels, tourism agencies, public sector entities, restaurants, consumer goods and telecom companies.

The Open Banking Practice Group drives development and promotion of highly configured consulting solutions to drive market development, efficiency in business development, product design and project delivery. The team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard's rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. You will work with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and start and scale ups.
The role of Vice President, Consulting Product Management for Open Banking is global in scope and responsible for marshalling Mastercard's resources to, as well as executing Open Banking consultancy projects.

The ideal candidate for this role will
• Drive thought leadership of open banking in multiple regions worldwide.
• Determine and drive the open banking consultancy product innovation agenda and product road map.
• Ensure flawless delivery of the consultancy services product and maintain the highest standards of quality in customer relationships.
• Work around the world and be sensitive to differences in markets' stages of development, growing the OB business and maximizing revenue opportunities.
• Deliver the Open Banking Consulting revenue target.

All About the Role:
Consultancy and content development
• Be an important source of intellectual insight on a client project, framing business problems in a way that the team can then execute to drive impact and client value.
• Bring deep open banking functional knowledge, expertise, and proprietary Mastercard tools to client projects.
• As the practice lead build and prioritize the consulting product roadmap for open banking working in close collaboration with peers in Mastercard Data & Services and third-party consultancies.
• Identify and develop new client opportunities to advise companies on open banking
• Ensure our consultancy capabilities are aligned with market needs and capitalize on Mastercard's services roadmap.
• Develop and write content, including leading the team to execute. The content may include leadership/points of view documents to help establish an external and internal narrative for open banking and the practice's role in this area.
• Develop and refine Delivery models to ensure flawless and efficient delivery of projects for our clients.
• Work with clients and the delivery team to clearly define projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner to the highest standards.
• Source data and commission market research to inform consultancy projects.
People Leadership
• Display strong leadership of a small team. Inspire and develop them creating a collaborative high-performance culture focused on delivery.
• Business Development & Sales
• Interface with Mastercard leadership across the organization to represent the suite of products.
• Work closely with open banking leadership and team members including specialist sales, the broader Services organization and regional Services business development teams, D&S Practice members and consultancy Delivery teams.
• Financial
• Accountability and end-to-end responsibility for delivering top and bottom-line success globally.

• MBA or other advanced degree in strategy, marketing, communications, innovation, entrepreneurship, or other related fields is a plus. In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
