Title and Summary

Vice President, Country Business Development The VP Country Business Development Lead will be responsible on the country revenues, strategy definition and execution, and heading the Financial Institution's Account Management team.

As a Vice President Country Business Development Lead it is expected to perform the following general duties:
• Develop Egypt's Country Strategy for business growth
• Responsible on the country P&L by defining the rhythm and routine of operations of the team to achieve the country budget
• Responsible on Egypt's sales and business development pipeline
• Ensure the sales excellence process among the team, and making sure of the account's strategies alignment with the country objectives
• Align with other senior management in the region and global for the market priorities, products initiatives, and big bets driving the country budget
• Ensure MasterCard be top of mind in the country and build partnerships with our customers
• Develop sales pipeline leveraging all available resources in coordination with the product development and account management teams
• Lead strategic and complex negotiation with key stakeholders in the market, to drive the execution of the country strategy and accelerate Mastercard's growth in the country
• Use Data, profitability modeling, financial forecasting to drive the growth strategy of the country and recommend opportunities for additional revenue
• Develop long-term growth strategies to optimize mutual profitability across debit and credit business lines
• Work with Mastercard's subject matter experts to strategically articulate value propositions to close new business opportunities
• Develop financial modeling and business cases for identified opportunities
• Execute and manage the customer contract agreement process, ensuring global linkage of resources and information sharing
• Be the responsible “face of MasterCard” to the prospect/customer through high level interactions with key stakeholders such as senior bank executives, country regulatory contacts, and other key stakeholders in the market.
Job Description Summary

This individual is the 'Go To' person for Business Development across the assigned location within Egypt ensuring alignment between the location's 'go-to-market' approaches and the overall EEMEA Business Development strategy, taking into account the region's longer term strategic initiatives.

Establish new partner / vendor/ enabler / joint venture integration with capabilities to sustain MasterCard's competitive advantage and tracking performance against key objectives. This individual will have responsibility for establishing and maintaining strong business relationships with Issuers, vendors, the banking industry and the regulators across Egypt.

Fundamental to accelerating the development of the business in Egypt, is a backbone of strong issuance strategy in partnership with key Banks. The individual will be responsible for developing a dedicated Issuance plan and strategy across the country.

In addition, the successful candidate must have a sound knowledge of the payments industry P&L and how to maximize revenue through an effective issuance strategy, in addition to leadership skills enabling to manage his team and work within a matrix organization.

The individual will support in the development of Egypt's Interchange strategies, in collaboration with all regional cross functional teams. The successful candidate will be required to support in the assigned location's Regulatory dialogue.
The individual candidate will be responsible to support the cluster lead on all matters related to Egypt's business relating to national and regional interests, country general operations and strategy development and execution.
