Title and Summary
SVP, Deputy Chief Security Officer Senior Vice President, Deputy Chief Security OfficerThe role of Senior Vice President, Deputy Chief Security Officer – Enterprise Solutions will coordinate engagement between Corporate Security and the Operations, Network, and Employee Digital Experience organization at an operational and strategic level. Additionally, the DCSO working from O'Fallon, MO will act as Deputy on behalf of the Chief Security Officer in direct liaison with TECH leadership at Mastercard's core Tech Hub in O'Fallon. The DCSO will represent Mastercard both internally and externally to customers, regulators, partners and other stakeholders as a thought leader in cybersecurity, and serve as an expert on all aspects of the Information Security Program.
Responsibilities
• Serve as security lead and liaison with entire Operations, Network, and Employee Digital Experience organization, which consists of 1,200 employees based globally
• With independence, conduct reviews all security functions and process program effectiveness overall
• Serve as an expert to the Chief Security Officer, General Council, and President of Technology on all aspects of the information security program
• Work directly with CSO to design improvement plans for program maturity of all information security services
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create, maintain, and drive information security technology strategies and roadmaps that align with business goals
• Represent Mastercard in community forums to promote Mastercard's brand and influence
• Create and communicate program maturity enhancements
• Share relevant information with industry peers to maintain cybersecurity awareness
• Engage with customers to provide awareness/recommendations for improvement in their cybersecurity posture
• Work closely with organizations of the security council to form security service opportunities that leverage corporate security strength
All About You
• Demonstrated experience leading an enterprise-level global corporate security function in payments, technology, or other highly regulated industry
• Demonstrated capacity for and ability to influence internally and across industry via thought-leadership
• Demonstrated the ability to effect strategic change of security technology and policy at an enterprise level
• Significant security management experience crossing both the physical and logical domains
• Extensive experience working with internal and external customers across diverse markets
• Extensive track record of formulating, implementing and enhancing corporate security strategic initiatives, by influencing and partnering across all levels and verticals of the organization
• Experience supervising, developing and coaching senior level teams to serve complex countries/regions
• At least 10 years experience in information security operations, including network security, security operations or security engineering, with relevant professional certifications
• Hold a bachelor's degree, ideally in cybersecurity, computer science or IT
