Overview:
The ‘Services within Mastercard' division is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.
Role:
• Support products across the Cybersecurity Program, with a focus on products that contribute to and run the scale Cyber Assess portfolio focusing on fraud, risk & cybersecurity
• Support delivery of cybersecurity program features geared towards customers managing third party risk programs
• Leverage cybersecurity and payment data to inform merchants, issuers and acquirers of fraud risk
• Learn overall end-to-end product management cycle
• Develop understanding of fraud lifecycle, cyber threats and trends and various risks that impact merchants
• Collaborates with Product Peers (other Technical Program Managers, Developers, UX designers, other Product Managers) and internal customers
Responsibilities
• Elicits and decomposes business requirements into platform requirements and user stories to define the details behind the business requirements; then Collects and shares user stories with engineering teams
• Assist product managers with Go to Market efforts including customer communications, training sessions
• Assist in discovery sessions of new initiatives & development of new features
• Work with regional product managers to communicate roadmap, new features, gain customer feedback
• Using the Working Backwards method, decomposes business requirements and customer experiences into features and functions that drive the platform/product roadma
• Assist with quarterly billing and working with MCBS
• Partner with various other Mastercard teams within Services
• Contributes near-term input (quarterly) for the platform product portfolio and roadmap, prioritizing the backlog while defining the acceptance criteria for user stories
• Makes use of research, user studies, metrics and competitive analysis to understand the platform and business needs for a platform product and inform the backlog
• Coordinates with interdependent teams on platform product requirements
• Keeps close to the design of the user experience
• Continuously monitors feature development at the feature level adjusting throughout implementation as needed
• Reviews product demo against acceptance criteria for the feature set
• Owns and manages product documentation ensuring features and associated documentation are clear and easily consumable by other engineering teams
• Identifies issues that will keep the platform features from delivering on time and/or with the desired requirements and works with internal teams and customer service to identify, classify, and prioritize feature-level customer issues
• Show eagerness to learn new business knowledge, technologies, tools or systems and make a point to offer ideas/solutions
• Monitors and reports on metrics, research and surveys
• Recommends trade-off decisions on product features/backlog items
• Prepares launches and monitors product performances, adoption, and operational health for feature sets
• Exhibits effective oral, written and non-verbal communications and delivers high quality work
• Supports and participates in post-launch reviews and ensures feedback is reincorporated into the product
Requirements :
• Experience breaking down requirements into features and user stories and overseeing delivery with engineering
• Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to customers, regional teams, and internal stakeholders
• Experience gathering user feedback and working closely with UX design
• Experience with Confluence, JIRA, Aha! and Agile
• Experience with customer facing, scalable, and performant RESTful APIs
• General knowledge of fraud, risk, cyber security and the payments ecosystem
• Experience with excel
• Bonus knowledge: Mastercard data, MPI, MPS, QMR, AHA and ALM
Education / Experience:
• Experience in delivering secure solutions in Financial / Fraud Services Sector or Cybersecurity Risk Management is preferred. Broad understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Total Base Pay Range
