Senior Software Engineer Overview• Design & develop a world class ecommerce platform

Role
• Contribute on a daily basis to the design and development of the platform
• Work with stakeholders (both internally and externally) to define business requirements and assist in the prioritisation of tasks for the development team
• Mentor junior members of the team
• Contribute to architectural discussions and work across other products to ensure alignment with the rest of the product suite
All About You
• Required Skills
Proven experience in developing worldclass solutions on a global scale
Working in an agile environment
Working in a continuous delivery TDD environment
Backend
Java developer with proven experience building enterprise web applications
The ability to write clean, well-structured, performant, maintainable code
An aptitude for and interest in programming (and software development in general)
• Desirable Skill
Java EE frameworks/technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, JUnit, JBehave, GWT
Web Services - RESTful APIs with JSON, SOAP with XML
Knowledge of operating in *nix environments
Working with databases including Oracle
Experience in implementing an automated UI testing framework
